Craig S. Taylor, born on June 25, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, after a courageous two-week battle in the hospital. He was 64 years old. Craig has now found eternal rest in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his three sons, Stephen (wife Bethany), Alex, and Sam, and his cherished grandsons, Braeden Chasteen and Gannon Taylor. He also leaves behind his loving sister Tina Brest and her husband Frank, as well as his other siblings Pam, Becky, and Manny Sharp and many nieces and nephews. Craig was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Janet Taylor.
When Craig was younger, he was passionate about cars and sports. He loved playing softball and bowling. Craig's legacy is one of love and resilience. His greatest success was the unwavering love he had for his sons. He supported them unconditionally and helped them grow into the men they are today. Craig was a long-time employee at Navistar. Craig will be deeply missed and his memory will be cherished by many special family members and friends.
A visitation to honor Craig's life will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Restoration Park Church. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bridges of Hope in Xenia, Ohio, at Xeniahope.com, to continue Craig's legacy.
