Cindy Marie Glassburn

Cindy Marie Glassburn, age 68, of South Vienna, Ohio passed away on August 2, 2024. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 14, 1956, to the late Daniel and Della Demory, of Catawba, Ohio.

Cindy is survived by her children: Abigail Glassburn, Kate (Stephen) Saur, and Michael Glassburn (Emilee Leslie); grandchildren: Aria, Kaylee, and Paisley; siblings: George (Marsha) Demory, Alan (Jackie) Demory, and Mitzi (Steve) Holloway; as well as many other relatives, friends, and coworkers.

Cindy was a graduate of Northeastern High School, class of 1974. For many years she worked in the purchasing department at Mercy Hospital/Springfield Regional Hospital, where she was still currently employed at the time of her passing. Cindy was a hard worker and loved her job and her coworkers. She was also an avid sports fan, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Richards, Raff, and Dunbar Memorial Home, 838 E. High Street, Springfield. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, beginning at 11:00am. Cindy will be buried near her parents at Vernon Asbury Cemetery, South Vienna, Ohio.
