Christy Jo Mccormick

Christy Jo McCormick, 53, of Springfield passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born April 23, 1964 in Springfield the daughter of Stanley and Martha (Ironton) Massie. Christy was a graduate of South High School and attended Message of Hope Ministry. She is survived by her husband Terry Gene McCormick; children Terry Gene McCormick II, David McCormick, June McCormick, David McCormick and Ted Samuel Hennis; brothers Terry Ironton, Keith Massie, Allen Massie, Clinton Massie and Cliff Massie; sister Teresa Massie; a granddaughter April Marie; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Debbie Greenwood. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 noon – 1 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Christy’s life will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Burial will be in Kingscreek Cemetery, Champaign County.
