Christina J. "Chris" Ferguson

Ferguson, Christina J. “Chris”, 48 of London passed away August 5, 2022 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 28, 1973, the daughter of Raymond E. and Shelby J. Baumgardner.  Chris was a 1991 graduate of Springfield South.  She was a member of Crossroads Church, London, Ohio, where she was involved in the women’s groups.  Chris was very devoted and loving to her family, especially her grandkids.  She was known to be that kind of person, who would give the shirt off her back and made sure nobody left the house hungry.  In her spare time, she loved to go shopping and thrifting.  Chris was preceded in death by her mother, Shelby Baumgardner; brother Joey Baumgardner; aunt Carolyn Violet; and uncle Charles E. Baumgardner.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband Lon Ferguson, whom she married May 28, 2001; children Jordan (Allie) Sticklen and Lauren (Kyle) Rutan; grandchildren Ellie, Evelyn, Everett and Luka, who is on the way; mother in-law and father-in-law Lon and Carol Ferguson, Sr.; and special friends Melissa Kiaser and Brian and Tracie Miller .  A celebration of Chris’s life will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Gary L.
