Charles L. Merrow

Charles L. Merrow, 81, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. He was born on August 27, 1941, in Springfield, the son of the late Carroll and Lucille Merrow. Charles is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and later retired from W.P.A.F.B. He was a lifetime member of the Donnels Creek Church of the Brethren. Charles enjoyed building model airplanes, trains, and woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Patsy Merrow; daughter Lisa Black; grandson Tyler Black; granddaughter Maya Black; sisters Carol Bull, Lois Matlock and Elaine Kraus; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Loretta Anspaugh; and son-in-law Dana Black. Private services will be held by the family. Burial will be at Myers Cemetery.
