Charles Fred Kauffman

Charles Fred Kauffman, aged 91, of Huber Heights Ohio passed away Wednesday July 26th, 2023. He was born and raised in Fairview MI by Fred Kauffman and Lizzie Ann Reber. He was a life-long carpenter and owner of Kauffman Construction. He loved working in his wood shop making toys and gifts for his family and friends. He knew and loved Christ as his Savior and was a regular attender at Huber Mennonite Church in New Carlisle OH. As a conscientious objector, he served in the 1-W service assigned to agricultural research.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, first wife (Ardice Yoder) and youngest son (Timothy). He is survived by his second wife of 27 years Peggy (Hilty) Kauffman, children Patricia (Robert Adair), Richard (Pam), Michael (Diana), Boonlume Singharat (Nang), Laneé (Bill Johnson), Chuck (Gretchen), step-children Julie (Lloyd Fisher), Tim (Gretchen), Dan (Marcia), Janice (Joe Wood), many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

There will be a viewing held on Sunday July 30th 2-4pm at Huber Mennonite church, 1885 South Dayton-Lakeview Road, New Carlisle, OH 45344
The services will be on Monday July 31st at 1pm for public visitation. The service will begin at 2pm. Both are being held at the Church.
