News Death Notice



PELFREY, Cassie R. 15, of Springfield passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Dayton Children's Medical Center. She was born November 6, 2000 in Springfield the daughter of Steve and Tami (Daniel) Pelfrey. Cassie had gone to Possum Elementary and Middle Schools and was currently a freshman at Shawnee High. She was a member of the Jesus Only Church. Cassie is survived by her parents; two brothers and a sister Storm, Freddy and Lori Pelfrey, all of Springfield; grandparents Fred Pelfrey, and Paul and Jo Windon, of Springfield, and Anthony and Kathy Daniel of Nicholasville, KY; great grandparents Regina Pelfrey of Springfield, and Loretta and Russell Daniel of Enon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers Jeanie Pelfrey and Robin Windon. Cassie's family would like to extend special thanks to her Home Health Care Nurse and close family friend Angel Perkins, and to the Doctors and Staff of Children's Medical Center for the loving care given to Cassie throughout her life. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 PM. In the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The service to honor Cassie's life will be Thursday at 7:00 PM. with Rev. Ray Cain officiating.
