Carolyn Domanek

Carolyn Domanek of Springfield passed away surrounded by family and friends July 11, 2024 at Springfield Regional Hospital. Carol was born April 20, 1959 in Kentucky to Martha & Johnny Roark.

She worked and retired as a dental assistant for Charles Baker where she met her close friend and cruise partner Paula Dunkan. She loved vacation and travel and spending weekends playing games or cooking out.

Carol is preceded in death by her baby girl, Rachel Arrowood; parents, Martha & Johnny; brothers: Robbie, Bill, Michael, & Gary; and sister, Betty.

She continues to live on in her loving spouse Lanny; her children: David and Angela Domanek, Roxanne and Mike Davis, and Rick Arrowood; grandchildren: Austin, Jack, Ana, Gavin, Cole, Caden, Madison, Sophia, Colin, & Jasper; sister and “look a like twin” Wilma Baker; close nieces: Jennifer & Jessica; and also many wonderful nieces, nephews, family, & friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the Richards, Raff, and Dunbar Memorial Home, 838 E. High Street, Springfield, Ohio. Funeral services officiated by Jay Yeager will immediately follow at 12:00pm. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Burial Park.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Vale Road Church of Christ at 680 Vale Rd in Springfield. Please join the family to share food and memories.
