Carol M. Woodland

Carol M. Woodland age 86 of Springfield, went home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 3, 2021. She was born the daughter of Guy & Marion Kehrwecker on July 23, 1935 in Marion, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth W. Woodland Sr.; son Kenneth W. Woodland Jr.; sister Esther Williams; brother Charles Kehrwecker. Carol is survived by her beloved daughters Vicki Hansgen of Springfield, Deborah Wilt of Springfield, & Judy (George "Skip") Mendenhall of Springfield; daughter in law Rebecca Woodland; 8 grandchildren, & 12 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, friends, & a host of church family. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, & friend. She will be missed by all of those who love her. For many years Carol was a faithful member of Maplewood Church of Nazarene where she played the organ & piano. Although recently she was not able to attend services, she was a faithful prayer warrior & active with the prayer chain ministry. In her spare time she enjoyed putting together puzzles, crafting, & baking homemade bread. What she loved most was spending time with her grandkids during the holidays baking her special holiday treats. Friends & family may call on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 11AM – 12PM at the RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 12PM with Pastor Vicki Case officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
