Carol Jean Sands

Carol Jean Sands, 72, of New Carlisle, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 25, 2023. She was born December 27, 1950  in Dayton, the daughter of the late Paul and Minnie McKelvy. Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years Donald Sands; children Donna (Scott) Stromley, Deborah Benton, David Sands and Robert Sands; brothers Robert (Sandy) McKelvy and John McKelvy; sisters Kathy Lewis, Phylis (Terry) Lanier, Peggy (Jerry) Grant and Mary (Joe) McDowell; Eleven Grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Mike McKelvy; and brother-in-law Glen Lewis. Private services will be held by the family.
