Carol Jean Glaze

Carol Jean Glaze, born in 1929 in Nowata, OK, longtime resident of Springfield, OH, passed on New Year's Eve Day peacefully in her sleep.  Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Elizabeth Beall, and husband, Ben.  Survivors include her daughter, Jan Glaze Ingham, granddaughter Bretanne and Nick (partner) and their 2 children Juniper and Caledon.  Carol was involved in St. John's Church and Young Women's Mission, volunteering at the hospital,  as well as bridge groups and neighborhood committees and loved promoting Springfield as 'the best place to live'.  Carol was a third grade teacher who loved her job and often was invited to her student's graduations with the status of most influential teacher.  She was a graduate of the Ohio State University.  In recent years, Carol recently resided in MN, close to her daughter and family who are grateful for the time spent together.  A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
