Carl Warren Eastep

Carl Warren Eastep age 71 of Springfield passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Hospice of Dayton while surrounded by his loving family.  Carl was born the son of Dick & Martha (Funderburgh) Eastep on August 14, 1951, in Springfield, Ohio.  He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 grandchildren Casey, Cameron, & Corey; brother David Eastep, niece Kim Eastep.  Carl is survived by his son Richard (Misty) Eastep of Indiana; daughters Carol (Brad) Miceli of Cincinnati, & Rebecca (James) Fuller of South Carolina; significant other of 26 years Kathy McLemore of Springfield; brother Lyle (Debbie) Eastep of Springfield; grandchildren Stephen, Samuel, McKenzie, Oliver, Aidan, Ainsley, Austin, Kendall, Kaleb, & Wyatt; 2 great grandchildren Kollin, & Kadin; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Carl was a graduate of Northeastern High School class of 1969, & a graduate of Wright State University.  After completing college Carl worked for many years as an accountant.  Carl was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan & was well known for his enthusiastic rants during the game.  He enjoyed watching hockey, & racing.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, playing golf, & card games.  Most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, & friends.  Friends & family may call on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 5PM – 7PM at RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E.
