Brian Anthoney Jenkins

Jenkins, Brian Anthoney, 22 of Springfield passed away June 11, 2023.  He was born in Springfield, Ohio on August 7, 2000, the son of Brian L. and Crystal L. (Hackathorne) Jenkins.  Brian was known as having a heart of gold and never knew a stranger.  He enjoyed listening to music, playing video games and watching football.  Brian also loved spending time with his family.  He was a 2018 graduate of Shawnee High School.  Brian was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents Donald and Inez Ludene (Boundrant) Johnson; cousins Hailey Jenkins and Chelsee Johnson; great uncles Vernon (Bub) Jenkins and Steven Parks.  Survivors include his parents Brian Lee and Crystal Lynn Jenkins; maternal grandparents Penny Cosper and Robert “Hack” (Sonia) Hackathorne; paternal grandparent Molly Jenkins; paternal great-grandparents Marion Sue and Vernon Jenkins; brother Adam Robert Jenkins; sister Alliyah Inez Jenkins; Aunts and Uncles Tiffany Keller, James Cosper, III, Heather Parks, Daniel Parks, Cassie Csendes, Daniel Hackathorne; and many more aunts uncles and cousins.  Services to honor Brian will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Jim Britton from Riversong church officiating.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to services.
