Bonita L. Heckman

Bonita L. Heckman, 78, of New Carlisle, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016. She was born on June 3, 1938 in Dayton, the daughter of Russell G. and Stella M. (Ditmar) Wooster. Bonita was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoy both her flower and rock gardens. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Lloyd and Richard Wooster; and sister Betty Holderman. Bonita is survived by her husband Thomas R. Heckman, Sr.; sons Army Veteran Thomas R. (Kim) Heckman, Jr. and Steven (Judy) Heckman; daughter Rhonda (Bruce) Roth; grandchildren Charles Roth, Chastidy Heckman, Stephen Heckman and Christopher Heckman; and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM in the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. A funeral mass to honor Bonita will be Thursday at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
