Blaine Anthony Burton

Blaine Anthony Burton, 67, of New Carlisle passed away peacefully at home April 5, 2023. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 21, 1955, to Clyde and Ruth (Byrd) Burton. He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he learned to love Cooking. Blaine was a retired hospice nurse working with Vitas Hospice for the last 15 years. He also worked for 15 years as a security officer at D.O.E. sites. Blaine was an artist, he loved drawing & woodworking and working on and rebuilding cars. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his loving and generous heart. Along with his parents he is survived by his wife of 25 years Jennifer (Casebolt) Burton; sisters, Melissa King, Vanessa Caudill & Melinda (Buck) McKibben; step daughter Erica (Wes) Marker of East Jordan, MI; two step grandchilden; five nephews and one niece, and four great nieces and four great nephews. Blaine was preceded in death by a brother Vernon Lee Collins. All who want to remember and honor him can attend a graveside service that will be held at Dayton National Cemetery, on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 11am.
