Beverly Jane Baker

BEVERLY BAKER, 85, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017 at Springfield Regional Hospital. She was born June 6, 1931 in Urbana, the daughter of the late Edwin and Beatrice (Lowe) Miracle and was a lifelong resident of New Carlisle. Beverly was a lifelong member of Honey Creek Presbyterian Church and a graduate of New Carlisle High School. She loved her family, and enjoyed her canasta card club members of 50 plus years. She is survived by three daughters, Suzanne Stapleton of New Carlisle, Ohio, Lou Anne (Greg) Robinson of Richmond, Kentucky, Marianne (Roger) Freeland of St. Paris, Ohio. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Josh (Chris) Stapleton, Beth (Jason) Elliott, Drew (Emily) Alexander and Bret (Erin) Alexander; as well as seven great grandchildren; Connor Stapleton, Carter Stapleton, Kaden Elliott, Brody Elliott, Wesley Alexander, Lainey Alexander and Eli Alexander; sister-in-law Jean (Satch) Wierenga;nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert "Bob" Baker. Visitation will be 11am-1pm Thursday in the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home.
