Betty J. Winkle

Betty J. Winkle, 82, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017. She was born November 25, 1934 in Springfield to Herbert and Olevia (Homer) Winkle. Betty had worked at Woolworth’s and retired from Springfield City Schools. She worked in the school cafeteria, mostly at Hayward Junior High. She is survived by her siblings, Charles (Maxine) Winkle, Joe (Roseann) Winkle, Roy Winkle, Rose (Thomas) Lubbers and Irma (Thomas) Lambert, all of Springfield, and Joyce (Bruce) Hinkle of Urbana. Services will be Monday at 10:30AM in the Chapel at Rose Hill Burial Park. RICHARDS, RAFF, & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME has been entrusted with final arrangements.
