Betty J. Rogers

Rogers, Betty J., 93 of Springfield died November 25, 2016 in the SRMC. She was born in Miami County, Ohio on December 13, 1922, the daughter of Edgar and Iva Williams. Betty retired from Bosca Leather as a silk screener. She was a member of First Christian Church and the VFW Post 3660. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting and home canning. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband Theodore; grandson Jimmy Miller; brother Robert Williams; sisters Hazel Wiles and Stella Koons; half-brothers Carl Williams, John Draving and Richard Draving ; half-sisters Martha Horne, Rosalee Davis and Carol Draving. Survivors include her daughters Delores Snyder and Frances (Gerald) Crabtree; half- brothers Edgar Williams Jr, Thomas Williams, Chose Draving, and Thomas Draving; half-sisters Estella Kessler, Alice Dyer, Patricia Conley and Joann Supsenger; grandchildren Harold Rogers Jr., Melena (Guy) Prasertsak and Toni Dobson; great-grandchild Thai Prasertsak. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services to honor Betty will be Tuesday at 1:00PM in the Memorial Home with Brian Borton officiating.
