Betty jaine Cain 86, of Tipp City, Ohio went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2024. She was born on January 16, 1938, to the late Henry & Velma McAfee. She was an active member and teacher at the New Carlisle Missionary Church. She was a talented baker and made cakes for many from her home. Betty loved playing and listening to her family play music. She was a charitable person and donated to many causes like Lakota Souix Children, Boys Town, and Vietnam Veterans. She would be invited to schools in Miami County to share her knowledge of Indian history in her full Indian dress and headdress. Most of all Betty loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Charlie Cain; daughters, Kim (Henry) Williams & Tawnja “Peachie” (Ken) Daubert; grandchildren, Bridget Moyer, April Williams, Jacob Daubert & Jesse (Jenny) Daubert; great-grandchildren, Dylan (Hannah) Moyer, Jenna Moyer, Nevaeh Werts, Coleman Daubert, Camille Daubert, Lincoln & Logan Daubert, and special friend Sharon Smith. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter Bridget Moyer, and brother, Bill McAfee. Visitation will be held at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 11 am to 12 noon with the service to follow at noon.
