Betty June Collins

Betty "Mame" June Collins, 86 of Springfield passed away March 11, 2017 in Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born in Knott County, KY on August 9, 1930, the daughter of Theodore and Jane (Patrick) Perkins. Betty was a member of the Beatty Free Will Baptist Church. Her greatest enjoyment was taking care of her family. In her spare time she loved going shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lawrence Collins, Sr.; and sons Lawrence Collins, Jr, and Dewey L Collins. Left to cherish her memory are her children Teresa A. Collins and Jeffery L. Collins; siblings Roy Perkins, Girlie Dean Combs and Linnie Margaret Hickman; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services to honor Betty will be Thursday at 2:00 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Pastor Steve Wallace officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
