BUZZELL, Betty Marie 91, of Topeka, KS, formerly of Springfield passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Aldersgate Retirement Home. She was born in Clark County, OH on January 14, 1925, the daughter of Charles F. and Hettie M. (Young) Kouse. Betty and her husband, Kenneth, owned Cheerios' and The Coffee Shop in downtown Springfield and she was also a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Buzzell; daughter Eileen Cox; brothers Jack and Karl Kouse and sister Dorothy Morgan. Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Glen and Marylin Buzzell; grandchildren Sean (Tonya) Cox, Todd (Jenny) Cox, Melissa (Gregory) Beck, Steve (Stephanie) Noyes, Travis (Laurie) Buzzell and Marie (Eric) Eklund; son-in-law Martin Cox; 19 grandchildren; 1 great- great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, February 15, 2016 from 5 to 7 pm in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. The funeral service to honor Betty will be Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at 1:30pm in the memorial home with Rev. Vicki Downing officiating.
