BETTY BRUCE

90, of Medway, Ohio passed away Sunday July 9, 2017 in Fairbron, Ohio. She was born March 7, 1927 in Marion, Ohio the daughter of the late Frederick & Diatha (Jacoby) Kreuger. Betty lived in Greene county 1950-1977. She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Bruce married January 16, 1977; a son, Michael & Diana Scowden; two grandsons, Chris (Krystina) & Brian (Jennifer) Scowden; five great grandchildren; stepson, Billy Joe Bruce, Jr.; step grandchildren, Lori (Chris) Herrfurth, Lisa (Rodney) Carlson & Matthew (Nichole) Bruce; seven step grandchildren; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Violet (Millard) Fisher & Cora (Boyd) Hall; a brother, Charles (Edith) Kreuger. Billy & Betty traveled two years in their RV before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico for ten years. She loved hosting tea parties, listening to church hymns, helping neighbors, taking car rides and her cats & dogs. She worked at the Dot's supermarket and Donges Drug Store. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Medway Cemetery.
