Betty Lou Biggs

Betty L. Biggs, age 86, of Bethel Township, Miami County, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 7, 2022. Betty was born on October 28, 1935, to the late Onies and Dorothy Coder and preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman E. Biggs, son-in-law Steve Fox and great granddaughter Chloe R. Fox. Betty is survived by her three children-Debbie A. Fox, Gary L. Biggs (Valerie), and Jennifer L. Ferguson (Jeff), 5 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Betty was known for being a great cook, had hundreds of cookbooks and read them, front to back as others read novels.  She had worked at Bethel Elementary as a cook until her retirement.  She had a huge, sweet tooth and made awesome desserts. She was ornery and funny and fiercely loyal to family. Her grandchildren will remember her telling them, “If you don’t straighten up, I’m going to stick your finger in the pencil sharpener!” She will be dearly missed! Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2022, from 1-2pm at Trostel, Chapman Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery.
