Bertha Jo Thomas

Bertha Jo Thomas, age 76, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024. She was born in Jacks Creek, Kentucky on November 17, 1947 to Lillie Mullins Hall. She chose nursing as a career and preferred caring for elderly patients. She enjoyed listening to music, watching spooky movies and television shows, cheering for the Cleveland Browns, and all things Christmas. Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Thomas, Jr. and her mother. She is survived by her children, Richard (Angel) Thomas and Katherine (Ryan) Reed along with three grandchildren, Everett, Justice, and Alexander, and one great granddaughter, Sophia. She will be interred in a small, private ceremony on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Arrangements have been entrusted to Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home.
