Barbara Ann Slusser

Barbara Ann Slusser age 79 of Enon passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at her residence while surrounded by her loving family.  She was born the daughter of Roger C. & Hazel C. (Lemaster) Webb on September 5, 1944, in Springfield, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Larry Slusser; brother James Webb.  Barbara is survived by her loving daughters Tami Smith of Fairborn & Lori (Mike Zerkle who is like a son in law) Pearce of Fletcher; brother John (Lynn) Webb; sisters Mary Jo (Ron) Pyles & Judy Webb; granddaughter Kristina (Greg) Williams of Springfield; great grandchildren Noah & Nash Williams; several nieces, nephews & a host of friends.  Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Barbara was a graduate of Shawnee High School class of 1962.  For many years Barbara was the church secretary at Grace United Methodist Church.  She also worked at the Clark County Public Library, & Enon Elementary School.  She was a member of the Sun Dial Garden Club & Enon United Methodist Church.  For almost 40 years Barbara & her husband enjoyed camping at Poor Farmers in Fletcher where they made many lasting friendships.  Barbara was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and held various roles over the years.  The Christmas season was a special season for Barbara, she started baking on December 1st & made sure all her family had a giant platter of Christmas cookies to share with their coworkers.  Her family will fondly remember her famous buckeyes & apple dumplings.  Friends & family may call on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, 5PM – 8PM at RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME 838 E. High St. Springfield, Ohio where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 10AM with Pastors Heather Husted and Jeff Mohr officiating.  Interment to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Care 360 Hospice 3085 Woodman Dr. Suite 360, Kettering, Ohio 45420.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com
