News Death Notice
SHERROCK, Barbara A. Age 84, of Springfield passed away peacefully Sunday, November 15, 2015. She was born March 10, 1931, the daughter of Gerald and Ruth Kirkpatrick. She retired from Krogers and was known for her handmade quilts, interior decorating and upholstery. She leaves behind to cherish her memory one sister, Marjorie (Midge) and Dick Donohue, six children, April Boop, Mike Sherrock, Roger (Lisa) Sherrock, Gerry (Karen) Sherrock, Cindy Dwyer, and Kelly (Dan) Fife; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her long-time friends Marge Venrick and Opal Castle. She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Gerald Kirkpatrick, two sisters Marlene (Janie) Foulke, Geraldine (Jerry) Richards, one brother William (Billy) Kirkpatrick, one grandson, Steven Edward Sherrock and one granddaughter, Stacey Marie Stoner. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Lawrenceville Cemetery. Following services a gathering of friends and family will be held at the Old School House, 3839 Lawrenceville Drive, 45504.
