Barbara Ellen Molitor

Barbara Ellen Molitor 78, of New Carlisle passed away, Wednesday, January 26, 2022. She was born on January 22, 1944, in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Ellis & Bonnie Sharkey. She retired from Kroger on Villa Road in Springfield and worked many years at Marshall Fields. Barb was a big fan of the Chicago Bears and was an overall sports fan. She is survived by her sons Bob Smith and Brian Smith; former husband Bill Smith; grandchildren, Erik, Caroline, Landon and Paige Smith; great-grandchildren Mya, River and Payton Smith; sisters, Winnie, Sandy, Marie, Pat & Shirley. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Brett Smith. Barb’s family would like to thank the staff at Springmeade Nursing Home and Upper Valley Medical Center for their loving care for Barb. According with Barb’s wishes no services will be held.
