Barbara A. Freeman

Barbara A. Freeman, 78, of Springfield passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 in Heartland of Springfield. She was born September 23, 1937 in Springfield the daughter of William and Dorothy (Williams) Woodrow. Barbara was retired from the Ohio Masonic Home with over 35 years of service as a Nurses Aid and was a member of the First Church of the Open Bible. She is survived by three daughters Susan Mowery, Jean Hopkins and Jacqueline (Ronald) Springer; one son Denver Freeman; one brother Roger Diffendol; one sister Patricia (James) Mullins, all of Springfield; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons Richard Woodrow and Michael Eugene Freeman; and two sons-in-law James Mowery and Brian Hopkins. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 PM. in the Chapel of Ferncliff Cemetery with Susie Cross officiating. Visitation will be from 2 - 3 PM. in the Chapel.
