Barbara L. Beegle

Beegle, Barbara L., 72 of Springfield passed away June 13, 2023, in Grandview Hospital.  She was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 3, 1950, the daughter of David J. and Lake L. Whitacre.  She was a graduate of South High School.  Barbara had been an administrative assistant at Miller Printing for over 20 years.  She later was a secretary with the city schools.  Barbara enjoyed reading.  But her greatest enjoyment was being with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Danny David Maynard.  Survivors include her husband Larry J. Beegle, whom she married August 8, 1970; children Theresa (Nate) Draughn, Larry David (Connie) Beegle and Tammy (Danny R.) Maynard; brother Mark (Lisa) Whitacre; sisters Rita (Bob) Larimore, Joan (Ivan) Estep, Susan (Doug) Schultheis and Jeanette (Doug) Brewer; grandchildren Brandon Draughn, Taylor Draughn, Alex Maynard, Ty Beegle and Kaitlyn Beegle; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  Services to honor Barbara will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 1:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.  Visitation will begin at 11:00AM until the time of services.  Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.  Memorial contributions are requested to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton 555 Valley St Dayton, Ohio 45404.  Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
