Austin Jenkins, Jr.

Jenkins, Jr., Austin, 92 of Springfield died August 6, 2023 in the Kindred Hospice, Dayton.  He was born in Lawrence County, Ohio on February 23, 1931, the son of Austin and Cordilia Jenkins, Sr.  He was a graduate of Bowling Green State University.  Austin retired from WPAFB in the purchasing dept.  He served his country in the US Army.  Austin was a licensed pilot and also enjoyed boating.  He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Eric Jenkins.  Survivors include his brother Ron Jenkins and niece and nephews Nona Jenkins Cooper, Lon and Lyle Jenkins.  Services to honor Austin will be Thursday at 2:00PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR Memorial HOME with visitation beginning at 1:00PM.  Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.  Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
