Arnold L. "Babe" Holloway

Arnold L. "Babe" Holloway, 66, of Springfield went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 9, 2016. He was born September 3, 1949 in Vanceburg, KY, the son of William Earl and Margaret (Polley) Holloway. Babe had worked at The Champion Co. for 25 years, then later at KTH and Navistar. He spent many summers at Lagonda Field and Davey Moore Park playing softball, had a passion for riding motorcycles with his brother Bob and friends and loved the Cleveland Browns. Babe is survived by his wife of 44 years Teresa; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Michael Talbert; grandson and best buddy Nathaniel "Rooman" Talbert; brother Mike (Tina) Holloway; sister-in-law Mary Holloway; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Babe is preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert "Bob" Holloway; and a nephew Tony Holloway. A funeral service to honor Babe will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Visitation will begin one hour prior to services.
