Anna L. Ross

Anna L. Ross age 76 of New Carlisle passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Hospice of Dayton while surrounded by her loving family.  Anna was born the daughter of John & Nettie (Fry) Turner on April 23, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother Donald Turner; sister Della Lynch; and granddaughter Nicole Frances Knicley.  Anna is survived by her 3 daughters Roxanne Knicley, Wanda (George) Gaston, & Amanda Woolum; grandchildren Ray, Kyle, Aaron, Eric, Aleigha, Destiny, Tyler, Stevie Ray, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Ashley, Buck, & Amy; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.  Anna was a loving mother, grandmother, & friend.  She will be missed by all of those who love her.  Anna was known to her family as the “Scratch Off Queen”, she enjoyed playing the lottery, going to casinos, & keeping the local convenience stores in business by purchasing scratch-off tickets to test her luck.  She enjoyed spending quiet time with her feline companions & most of all spending quality time with her family & friends.  A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a date & time to be announced.  Arrangements entrusted to TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME.  Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.trostelchapman.com
