Anita Jane (Stewart) Gross

GROSS, Anita S.

Age 91 of Medway, OH passed away peacefully Friday, Nov. 25, 2016. She was born and raised in Leetonia, OH, the daughter of Emily Quigley Stewart and Culver Stewart, who preceded her in death. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, and her son, Tom, as well as her brother, Jim. She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Tom Kilian) and her son, Drew (Connie), 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. She was a retired nurse having worked and taught at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. She enjoyed reading and politics. She also enjoyed gardening, especially her beautiful Dahlias and other flowers. She loved her family, her many friends and especially her church family. Anita was an avid letter writer. She maintained contact with friends for 80+ years, as well as her granddaughters and many others. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec 3, from 10:30am, with service at noon at the Huber Heights Ohio Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5750 Shull Rd with Bishop Jeremy Lutz officiating. Burial will follow at Medway Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME.
