News Death Notice

LARIMORE, Alice E. 94, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Villa of Springfield. She was born July 27, 1921 in Athens, OH, the daughter of Walter P. and Eva May (Wilson) Richenberg. Alice had worked in sales, employed with many companies as a manager but in particular was the first AVON representative in Springfield. In her later years she had taught classes at Clark State and was an avid animal rights activist. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son Randy Larimore. Alice is survived by her sons Bob (Rita) Larimore, Mike (Mary) Olmstead and Ric (Peggy) Larimore; a daughter Suzi Downey; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. A service to honor Alice will be Thursday at 11:00 AM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the start of service. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Memorial contribution may be made to the His Hands Extended Sanctuary, 1560 Dialton Rd., St. Paris, OH 43072, which was cause close to her heart.
