Alan Ray Rebert age 62 of Springfield passed away on October 10, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born the son of Edward T. & Eunice (Hunter) Rebert on November 19, 1958 in Springfield, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Justin Rebert; brother Larry Rebert. Alan is survived by his beloved wife Catherine (Ogden) Rebert of 43 years; sons Phillip Rebert of Chillicothe; Jacob (Jessica) Rebert of Missouri; daughters Amanda (Brent) Foster of Springfield, & Jessie Rebert of Springfield; brother Ted Rebert; sister Cindy (John) Haffner; grandchildren Erin, Sarah, Allison, CoriAnn, Shayne, Micah, Jaxson, Tristian, Noah, Ryder, Kymber, & Penelope; 1 great grandson J.J.; brother in laws Tim Ogden, John Ogden, Joe Ogden, Andy Ogden, & Bruce Sigman; several nieces, nephews, & a host of friends. Alan worked as a mechanic for the Northeastern Local School District transportation department. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring cars, watching Nascar, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr., & in his younger days he raced at Shady Bowl in De Graff. He enjoyed date nights with his wife, which usually consisted of a trip to Rural King to get a bag of popcorn. Most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family. A gathering of friends & family will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2PM – 4PM in the Northeastern High School Gymnasium 1480 Bowman Rd. Springfield, Ohio where a memorial service will be held at 4:00PM. Arrangements entrusted to RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.
