Aaron Whitaker, Jr.

Aaron Whitaker, Jr., 72, of New Carlisle, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. He was born May 15, 1952, in Jeremiah, KY, the son of the late Aaron, Sr. and Delphia Whitaker. Aaron was an ordained minister of Doty Creek Church, Jeremiah, KY. Early in life he worked for Dayton Tire and Rubber and later retired after 32 years with Pepsi. Aaron is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vivian; children Charlotte (Timothy) Ingram and Matthew (Mandy) Whitaker; brother Harvey Whitaker; sisters Janet Caudill and Maxine Blair; grandsons Hunter, Brody, and Carson; great-grandchildren Addyson, Remmie, Dani Rae, and Lyla; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Elizabeth and Maisie; and brothers Haston and Hansford. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 4-6pm with a service beginning at 6:00pm at Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 13, 2024, at 11:00am at the funeral home with burial to follow in New Carlisle Cemetery.
